Collaborative care for transformative change.

Hi, we’re Emily and Stefania, two passionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors who believe in the transformative power of therapy. Our journey began with a shared vision: to help clients grow, heal, and build the fulfilling lives they deserve. With years of clinical experience, we’ve built a practice rooted in what matters most—genuine connection, trust, and collaboration. We work alongside you to identify your goals, navigate challenges, and celebrate your progress. Knowing that one size doesn’t fit all, we provide personalized therapy tailored to your unique needs. Therapy with us isn’t a cold, clinical exchange; it’s a real, human conversation. We show up authentically, creating a judgment-free space where you feel truly seen and supported.

Seeking support takes courage. It’s one of the hardest steps, and you’ve already taken it. Welcome to a space where change happens, resilience builds, and self-compassion grows.  Thank you for being here.

OUR VALUES

Our core values center on client care and therapist well-being, emphasizing inclusive therapy, strong therapeutic relationships, and continuous professional growth.

  • Our therapists approach therapy with humility and curiosity, recognizing the complex interplay of social, cultural, and systemic factors that shape our clients’ lives. We honor each individual’s unique identity and stand in solidarity with historically marginalized communities, advocating for social justice within and beyond the therapy room.

  • We believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective therapy, with trust, empathy, and collaboration at its core. Centering client autonomy, we create a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered from your first consultation to your final session, fostering healing, growth, and transformation.

  • We prioritize therapist well-being by maintaining balanced caseloads, setting clear boundaries, modeling self-care, and ensuring sustainability and quality in our work. When therapists thrive, they create transformative change—impacting clients, relationships, and entire communities.

  • We are committed to continuous growth through ongoing education, supervision, and staying informed on issues impacting marginalized communities. By learning, self-reflecting, and collaborating with peers, we ensure that our practice remains informed, inclusive, and effective.

Emily Mooradian, LMHC

Emily is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and authentic space where clients feel truly seen and supported. She specializes in helping clients navigate life’s stressors, including anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges, and has experience supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals. Taking a holistic and individualized approach, Emily blends psychodynamic, person-centered therapy with evidence-based techniques. She believes that lasting progress comes from both gaining insight and having practical tools for change because understanding yourself is powerful, but knowing how to take action is what transforms lives.

Outside of the therapy room, Emily is a proud dog mom to her golden doodle, Lucy, and loves exploring New York City’s vibrant arts, food, and culture scene with her fiancé. She enjoys gardening, hot yoga, river walks, and deep conversations with friends—always finding joy in connection and new experiences.

Stefania Mogavero, LMHC

Stefania values collaboration and co-creating a space where clients can explore their inner world with curiosity and self-compassion. She is dedicated to walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges, heal from past wounds, and move toward a more fulfilling life. With experience supporting LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals, as well as queer, interethnic, and interracial couples, Stefania helps clients work through concerns like anxiety, women’s issues, and relationship issues. Together, you’ll explore your relationship with yourself and others, build resilience, strengthen self-trust, and embrace your inherent strengths, letting go of what no longer serves you along the way.

Beyond her work as a therapist, Stefania is a proud dog mom and creative baker with a side hustle making custom-decorated sugar cookies. She loves pilates, reading, exploring new restaurants and cultures, and cherishing meaningful moments with loved ones—always drawn to warmth, curiosity, and life’s little details.

  • “Stefania has been a great asset to developing and bettering my own mental health in the past few years. I started seeing her because of a very specific family issue that has since been resolved, but I have continued to see her since. She is firstly very professional and comfortable in discussing the patient-therapist relationship, which helps to set boundaries and expectations in our sessions. She is also very empathetic and diligent in tracking changes in my (and I imagine her other patients) behavior, relationships, and moods.”

  • “Emily is always incredibly professional and attentive. Her memory for key details (even over the course of years), and ability to immediately jump back into my specific needs and concerns week to week has built a strong foundation of trust so that I always feel supported, heard, and understood no matter the topic or how long between sessions.”
